A 10-day exploration through the rugged landscapes of Djebel Saghro, crossing remote valleys, Amazigh villages, Aït Atta landscapes, dramatic rock formations and the Draa Valley between Marrakech and the southern mountains.
About this tour
Explore the spectacular landscapes of Djebel Saghro on a 10-day journey through one of Morocco’s
most distinctive mountain regions.
Starting from Marrakech, the route crosses the Tizi N’Tichka Pass before descending towards the
Draa Valley and reaching Handour. From there, the journey continues through Amazigh villages,
remote valleys, mineral landscapes and the dramatic rock formations of Tadaout N’Tablahte and Bab
N’Ali.
The route then continues through Aït Atta pastoral landscapes before reaching the high areas of
Djebel Saghro and gradually descending towards Tagdilt. The return to Marrakech follows the Dades
Valley, with visits to Ouarzazate and the famous Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou.

Early departure from Marrakech towards Handour.
Cross the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, enjoying panoramic views over the High Atlas before descending towards the Draa Valley.
Continue towards Handour at approximately 1,300 m.
