About this experience

Discover Moroccan cuisine from the garden to the table in a hands-on cooking experience near
Tangier.
Your experience begins with a welcome drink before heading into the organic garden. Instead of
simply receiving ingredients prepared for you, you harvest the fresh vegetables that will become
part of your meal.
During the garden visit, you will also have the opportunity to plant your own seedling and
experience drawing water from a traditional Moroccan well, known locally as Lbir.
After discovering where your ingredients come from, you will join a professional chef for a hands-on
Moroccan cooking class. Depending on your selected options, you will learn how to prepare
Moroccan salads and traditional tagines, including kefta, meat or vegetable options.
You will then sit down and enjoy the meal you prepared yourself, surrounded by the atmosphere of
the countryside.
The experience continues with the preparation of atay ma’acheb, a traditional Moroccan herbal tea,
as well as fresh lemon juice. Enjoy Moroccan tea and sweets during the final part of the experience,
take photos, and receive a personalized certificate with your name as a special souvenir.
If weather conditions prevent the outdoor activities, the experience continues indoors. The garden
and well activities are replaced with a hands-on workshop where the cooks teach you how to
prepare rghayef (msemen), traditional Moroccan flaky pancakes, from scratch.
The cooking experience therefore continues whatever the weather.
