Experience the living culture of Morocco’s Amazigh heritage through two connected
workshops in Merzouga.
Begin with a 3-hour Amazigh Cultural Experience, discovering Amazigh history, language,
Tifinagh, traditional symbols and cultural traditions. Create your own Amazigh-inspired
artwork and take your handmade creation home.
Enjoy a traditional homemade meal with Moroccan tea and local sweets before continuing
to the second experience.
Then discover Ahidous, an important form of Amazigh collective music and cultural
expression. Learn its rhythms and traditions, paint and personalize your own bendir,
practice together and join a collective Ahidous performance.
End the experience with a group photo holding your painted bendirs and memories of a
day spent actively experiencing Amazigh culture.
