About this experience
Get ready to experience the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi from a different perspective.
After meeting your guide, receive your sandboard and the necessary equipment, followed by a
safety briefing and practical instructions on how to balance, ride and control your board.
Then head onto the dunes and put your skills into practice as you slide down the sandy slopes. Your
guide will be there to provide support and tips throughout the experience, whether it is your first
time on a sandboard or you already have some experience.
Enjoy the spectacular Sahara scenery around you and take in the panoramic views across the
golden dunes.
You can also choose a sunset session and enjoy sandboarding as the desert takes on its evening
colors.

Guests under 15 can accompany the group and watch but cannot participate in sandboarding.
Guests over 60 cannot participate in the activity.
The activity can be booked at different times throughout the day.
A sunset session can be arranged upon request.
All necessary sandboarding equipment is provided.
No previous sandboarding experience is required.
A local guide provides instructions and guidance throughout the activity.
Transportation is not included in the activity price.
Guests can use the meeting point and arrange their own transportation, or request additional transportation from their location. Transportation can be arranged from locations near or farther from Merzouga, with the cost depending on the distance.
Food and drinks are not included but can be arranged separately upon request.
If weather conditions make the activity unsafe, the experience can be postponed. If the guest prefers not to reschedule, a refund can be arranged according to the circumstances.
