Mount Toubkal: The Two-Day Peak Challenge

This is a challenging high-altitude trek requiring good physical condition. Participants should be comfortable hiking 6-8 hours per day with elevation gain. Prior multi-day hiking experience is recommended but not mandatory.

No technical climbing skills are required for the standard summer route. In winter months (December–March), crampons and ice axes may be necessary; these can be rented locally. Your guide will assess conditions and provide safety briefings.

The ascent is designed to allow gradual acclimatization. However, altitude sickness can affect anyone. Stay hydrated, pace yourself, and inform your guide immediately if you experience headaches, dizziness, or nausea. Travel insurance with high-altitude coverage is mandatory.

Essential items include: sturdy hiking boots, layered clothing (temperatures vary widely), waterproof jacket, sleeping bag liner, headlamp, sunscreen, sunglasses, personal first aid items, and a small daypack. A detailed packing list will be provided upon booking.

The Toubkal Refuge offers basic but clean dormitory-style accommodation with shared facilities. Beds have mattresses; bring a sleeping bag liner for hygiene. Hot meals and beverages are served. It's a rustic mountain experience focused on functionality.
