Discover the Merzouga Sahara through a journey designed around living experiences rather than
simply visiting places.
Travel from Marrakech deep into southern Morocco and arrive in Merzouga, where three nights in a
luxury desert camp become the heart of the experience.
Explore the dunes by quad, ride a camel into the desert at sunset and experience sandboarding
among the golden dunes. As night falls, enjoy Moroccan tea, traditional pastries and music beneath
the stars.
The journey then takes you deeper into Amazigh culture through three separate hands-on
experiences: discovering Amazigh heritage and symbols, experiencing traditional Amazigh henna
customs, and participating in an interactive Ahidous music workshop.
Complete the journey with a visit to the historic Aït Ben Haddou before returning to Marrakech.

Welcome to Marrakech
Guests are welcomed in Marrakech during the afternoon or evening and transferred to their 4-star hotel.
After check-in, guests can rest and enjoy the hotel surroundings before dinner.
Dinner at the hotel and overnight in Marrakech.

05:00 AM: Depart Marrakech and begin the journey toward the Merzouga Sahara.
Around 08:00-08:30 AM, stop in Ouarzazate for breakfast.
Continue through the landscapes of southern Morocco toward the southeast.
Around 1:00-2:00 PM, stop in the Tinghir / Tinejdad area for lunch.
Continue toward Rissani and Merzouga, with a short break around 5:00 PM.
Arrive in the Merzouga area around 6:30-7:30 PM, then continue to the luxury desert camp.
Settle into the camp and enjoy the first evening surrounded by the Sahara.
Dinner, traditional Merzouga music beneath the stars and overnight in the luxury desert camp.

Spend the day discovering different aspects of Amazigh heritage through three separate immersive experiences near the
Merzouga camp.
Amazigh Culture Experience
Begin with Moroccan tea and traditional sweets before discovering Amazigh history, identity, traditions, Tifinagh writing and the
meaning behind traditional symbols and motifs.
Take part in a hands-on artistic activity and create your own piece to take home.
A traditional homemade meal is also included.
Henna Amazigh Workshop
Discover the cultural role of henna within Amazigh traditions, including its symbolism, preparation and traditional customs.
Meet local women and a professional artist and learn about the traditions surrounding the ceremony.
The experience goes beyond simply drawing henna, introducing guests to the customs, songs and cultural practices connected to
traditional Amazigh henna.
Take part in a hands-on creative activity, enjoy a homemade meal and create a handmade tote bag to take home.
Ahidous Workshop

From the Sahara to Aït Ben Haddou
Wake up in the Sahara and enjoy breakfast at the luxury desert camp.
Begin the journey back west through the landscapes of southern Morocco.

Continue toward Kalaat M’Gouna for a Moroccan tea break before continuing to Aït Ben Haddou.
Arrive at Aït Ben Haddou and explore its historic architecture and unique atmosphere.
After the visit, continue to the nearby accommodation.
Dinner and overnight at an Auberge near Aït Ben Haddou.
